Getting started
As soon as you have approved our costs and we have spoken with you to set a direction for your stationery, we can get underway with a design. We will send you a concept either as a full-size mock-up or as a PDF. Once happy with the styling and layout, we will develop it into a set of artwork proofs to approve for print (these can be supplied either as printed sheets or as a PDF).

Your bit
It helps if you can supply us with as much detail about your wedding as possible when we commence design work. Please supply this as an email or Word document so that we can do a ‘copy and paste’. If you need help with wording etiquette we can help. If you intend to use hymns, readings and poems within your stationery we advise that you check the copyright laws first and if you source from the internet then check for permission references. We Go Together cannot be held responsible for any breaches of copyright.

Artwork proofs
We recommend that you take time checking your artwork proofs, paying particular attention to wording. We ask you approve them by returning them signed, or by email. If changes need to be made we will send out revisions. Please note that last minute client amendments can incur a charge. We Go Together will not be held responsible for any delays to print as a result of changes or wrong information being supplied. Printing of your artwork can only go ahead once we receive your full approval.

Timescales
In an ideal world the best work happens when things can be planned and prepared with time on your side. We therefore ask that you try to place your order as far in advance of your wedding day as possible. Occasionally this is not always possible and we do get last minute requests. In such cases we will try to turn things around quickly, but please check with us first. Within a ‘normal’ timeframe we like to allow four weeks from design through to finished stationery – and within this we try to allow 5 working days for printing. Rest assured that we plan everything very carefully; if we cannot meet your deadline we will not enter into a commission. Should you decide to work with us we will keep you up to speed with progress, confirming completion and a delivery date at every stage of the project.

Payment
For all orders, we ask for a 50% payment before we commence any work – design or printing. The remaining balance will be invoiced to you once your stationery is printed. We ask you pay this within 14 days of the invoice date. We accept payment by cheque or bank transfer. We do not take credit card payments. Please note, we have built our business on trust; we put a great deal of up-front time into your stationery. We therefore rely on clients to pay accordingly when we ask and within agreed timeframes. In most cases clients respect us for this, however for the minority that abuse our goodwill (yes sadly we’ve had them) we will take action to recover our costs under the terms of English Law.

Postage and delivery
We pack your stationery with care. We use Royal Mail’s guaranteed service for important deliveries and you will need to sign as proof of receipt. We always confirm an agreed delivery address prior to sending. Postage costs are dependent upon weight and will be added to your final invoice. We can also deliver personally to addresses around the M25 region.

Rejection fees
If for any reason you are not happy with our initial design and decide to go elsewhere we will charge a rejection fee of £35. We will of course try find out why you are not happy with our work and do our very best to rectify it. Thankfully we are pleased to say this is rare – we have only ever had two rejections. However, should you change your mind at any point during the design, artwork or print stages and decide to use another stationery supplier we are within our legal rights to invoice for the work to date. If for any reason you are not happy with the final printed items we will reprint them at no extra cost – again we are pleased to say this is a rare occurrence.
